Who is my contact point?
I will be your main contact, handling all communication and coordinating everything from prequalification to closing. I’m always available by phone or email with quick response time.
Who will be my lender?
We work with several of the top mortgage lending companies and will always go to the lender with the best program to match your needs. The costs for my professional services is not set by any particular lender, your loan goes to the lender with the best deal for you.
How are my interest rate and closing costs determined?
The interest rate is based on your credit score, down payment, loan amount, and several other factors. That’s why obtaining a tri-merge residential mortgage credit report at the earliest time possible is so important, as all interest rates and closing costs start there.
Why do I need a residential mortgage credit report?
The free credit reports that are advertised on TV or the Internet do not provide the detailed requirements for a residential mortgage loan. An RMCR is the only valid report that can be used for loan pricing and underwriting. As an incentive, we offer a no cost RMCR to you to get the process started. We’re not a credit repair company, but we have the knowledge to help you maximize your credit score to get the best rate possible.
What are current mortgage rates in Texas today?
As you’ve read above, rates are determined using multiple variables; therefore, we can’t simply quote a rate without taking your specific circumstances into account. Remember, Leon has access to and shops multiple lenders. Finally, rates are always on the move, dictated in large part by the bond market. Here you will find a high level overview of mortgage interest rates in Texas.
